Dissection of
a Memory... HPS - Prashant S. Iyengar
Written by Prashant in 2000, this is one piece that not just every HPS
student, but just about anyone who was a kid in the 1980's and 90's,
would love. I loved it for precisely that latter reason - for those
memories of more innocent times like no kid of today shall ever know -
the jokes, the games, all trudging towards extinction this very moment.
Though Prashant had intended to cover all twelve, or at least the first
ten, years here, it had to stop after seven for reasons he chooses not
to give too much thought. There are a couple of minor factual errors
that shouldn't make a difference to anyone less fussy than me!
Dissection
of a Memory (Second Draft) - Prashant S. Iyengar
Sometime in 2002, if I remember correct, Prashant revisited this
article to make the changes you see here - mostly in style, and the
omission of a few little stories which I found endearing in the
original. This is a more mature version but I prefer to make it only
accompany, rather than replace, the original.
